Il bassista di Lipsia Stephan Deller e il batterista Jonathan Delazer si conoscono e si ammirano a vicenda da molti anni, e in questo album finalmente si uniscono.
Concepita in modo informale ma suonata spontaneamente, la registrazione si muove ai confini del ritmo e della melodia, con solo basso e batteria, dando vita a dialoghi profondi e reattivi. Traendo ispirazione dalle tradizioni jazz, il duo si avventura in territori sperimentali, creando sonorità e strutture che stimolano e gratificano l'ascoltatore.
Ogni brano dell'album ha una propria identità, con melodia e ritmo che si alternano tra gli strumenti, tecniche estese che si fondono con l'uso di tecniche ufficialmente riconosciute, tanto che potreste persino avere l'impressione di sentire più di due musicisti.
Registrato il 19 aprile 2025 a Berlino presso lo Zentrifuge da Tito Knapp; mixato e masterizzato da Olaf Rupp.

Leipzig based bassist Stephan Deller and drummer Jonathan Delazer have known and admired each other's playing for many years, and on this album they finally connect.
Loosely planned and spontaneously played, the recording skips around the edges of rhythm and melody, with only the bass and drums, they engage in deeply responsive dialogues. Drawing loosely on jazz traditions, the duo ventures into experimental territory, creating textures and structures that challenge and reward.
Each track on album has its own identity, melody and rhythm switching between the instruments, extended techniques blending with officially approved usage, you may even be tricked into thinking you hear more than just the two musicians.
Recorded on 19 April 2025 in Berlin at Zentrifuge by Tito Knapp; mixed and mastered by Olaf Rupp.
